Level 1 Yoga is the ideal starting point if you’re new to yoga, returning after a break, or looking to build strong foundations. The class focuses on developing strength, mobility, balance, and confidence through clear instruction and steady progress.

You’ll learn key postures and movement patterns at an accessible pace, with guidance on technique and alignment to help you practise safely and effectively.

Who should attend this class

Level 1 Yoga is the ideal for anyone new to yoga, returning after a break, or looking to build strong foundations. It is suitable for:

  • Complete beginners
  • Students returning to yoga after time away
  • Anyone who wants to improve technique, confidence, and consistency

If you are recovering from injury or illness, Level 1 Yoga is usually the best place to begin. If you’re already practising regularly and feel ready for more challenge, you may enjoy Level 2 Yoga.

No prior knowledge is needed — everything is explained clearly during the class.

Yoga is a physical practice, and you can expect to feel worked (and possibly a little sweaty) as your strength and mobility improve.

  • Mats are available, but you are welcome to bring your own
